The FCC does not set a minimum age to hold an amateur radio license, so younger operators are a real part of the hobby. That said, Hamrigs is written for adults working through licensing, gear, and setup decisions, and the site is not directed at children under 13. Hamrigs does not knowingly collect personal information from children, and a parent or guardian helping a young operator navigate this site should not need to share the child’s personal details to do so.
